    I should use English more as I have trouble making sentences even though I understand everything that is said. But what am I commenting here? Well, it's about the beauty of human condition. The way philosophy can teach to learn contexts, different language spaces / language games and all the ways of using language in thinking. There's a wide ocean out there for an open mind, sea of human condition. You made me think of things like that. Though staying amidst the vast ocean is suitable and recommended mostly for professors - as a great professor you might have a bit biased superego, as it might also be recommended not to stay too much in the ocean. To me the core way of doing philosophy is quite political that is to challenge and change the fantasy frame through which we access reality. It's a labor of violent love and an act of life for people. An answer to the wrongness that I see around me on everyday basis when I look at people at markets etc. It wouldn't be of high quality to hysterically complain about it, but when one becomes certain kind of Evil Father figure who creates a new public space of freedom to his fellow people by performance and example, it is of a philosophical quality. Theory is absolutely needed to back up action. As well as having the core of people who want me so that I can confront pretty much anything in a good way and not getting bothered by people. Ultimately and for some reason to me philosophy seems to have only value if it's in some sense revolutionary. To give a silly example not being punk (activist) but postpunk ie. gothic. And certainly not hippy as they don't actively seek to confront and is mostly for people who -- okay, I don't want to say because there might be constructing ways of looking at some of them. But yeah, on serious talk, I look nothing less than to become a Captain. I've even planned to get basic income through maritime industry as it supports the freedom to not symbolically castrate myself for fear of losing my job, etc. It allows other possibilities to make profit on top of that and most importantly it gives me half of my time to do my best on the land, while the other half of the time when I'm not productive I'm in the service of the black logistic veins, providing everything to our markets. This all seem too grim, maybe it's the tone on loneliness regarding to the project I'm talking about, so I must also add that I'm looking for tailoring colorful clothes and bringing up the sun in general. There's not much that one person can do, that kind of truth we all can experience through a camping trip... so things must be done in lighthearted fashion. Even if I were the sovereign ruler of all of Europe, my action wouldn't still be of much worth - maybe this is even wider existential meaningless that I'm feeling. The animal nature in us pushes us to be, but only reason for human-spirit to be is to love and want to continue on loving, to want more of this daydream - that's the very childlike wisdom hidden in every person who had a good childhood. But you too Greg, keep the flag up! :) Your work here is about providing big body of intellectual exercises which is quite exceptional, thumbs up for you continuing!

    Thank you. I wonder if Kant used his eyes to have sense intuitions of the logician's table of judgements as he read them from a book. If Kant had done an analysis of the content of his own mind independent of sensations performed in time and space (like reading a book by a logician)( or even the matter that imagination provides), his claim would be stronger. I cannot think of a method by which that would be done. Kant's thought is very interesting and his thinking is quite admirable. I am going to spend some time thinking about Kant's system of categories ( which I read in his book) rather than attempt a first person analysis of my own thinking in order to identify the necessary categories presupposed.

Literature is all I can say about my degree because here in Brazil I teach Portuguese literature. I speak English a bit . • @GregoryBSadler
      @GregoryBSadler 4 дня назад

      He did not, because that's not actually Socrates' practice. Whoever told you that that was Socrates' practice unfortunately bullshitted you. Good thing is, you can set that mistaken view aside and actually read Plato and Xenophon to see what Socrates did do (and it wasn't to engage in "debate", which is what the Sophists were more into)

    According to a familiar story, Kornbluth was in the process of educating himself by reading the encyclopedia from beginning to end, and his editor knew he'd reached the second volume when a ballista showed up in one of his stories one day. Based on the ceramics and copper oxide referenced in the opening to this one, I'm gonna deduce he made it up to C.
